a Personal Trainer?
You’ve decided that this year is THE year that you
want to get fit, muscle up, get into that little black
dress, be the best at your sport or get your health back
so you can play with your children again.
This year you are going to be the person that
you have always wanted to be!! So what’s stopping

These reasons amongst many others need not stop you. You

that person and as a personal trainer, I will help
you.
Motivation
- You are not on your own. I
will work with you to reach your goals, whatever
they are and keep you on track with your programme
and diet.
Plus,
it’s
so much more fun to work with somebody else! It won’t feel
like work.
- I am available by telephone or e-mail for any advice
or encouragement that you may need.
- As you progress, your sessions will become varied
so there’s no risk of boredom!
- I keep a log of all training sessions so that you
can see for yourself the improvements you are making.
- I carry out regular health checks (Heart Rate, Blood
Pressure, Body Composition and Range of Motion Tests)
so that again, your progress is monitored.
Safety and Progression
- It is my responsibility to minimise
the risks and maximise the benefits of exercise. Movement
can become unsafe if inappropriately loaded, performed
or matched to the wrong person.
- Each person is individual and I tailor make programmes
to suit you. I will take into account:
- Your goals
- Your gender
- Your medical history
- My health findings
- Your activity history
- Your leisure pursuits
- Your work
- Your diet
- Your likes and dislikes
- The time you have available
- Your energy levels
- This is all necessary for your
safety and for you to benefit to the maximum. You will
not achieve the same
results by
following a routine out of the paper!
- I will make
reviews of your training programme so that a plateau
or even a decrease in your performance
does not
occur. You will always progress.
- I will ensure correct
technique at all times. This will avoid injury but
also ensure that you get the most
benefit
from the exercise being performed.
- I will identify
and imbalances and correct them.
- I am in constant touch
with new exercise and physiology research.
Other
- You do not need to go to the gym. I can come to you.
- So no gym fees
- No intimidating lycra clad gym users
- No travelling
- The children can play in the next room
